How Tender Is God’s Heart Toward You by Joseph Prince

How Tender Is God’s Heart Toward You by Joseph Prince

Ephesians 2:7
7that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Have you ever blown things out of proportion and gotten angry with God when you were going through a trying time? This happened to Jesus’ disciples when a storm hit them hard. In their fear of drowning, they cried out to Jesus, who was getting some much-needed sleep in the boat, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” (Mark 4:38)

For accusing Him of not caring, you would think that they received a rebuke from Jesus. But it was the wind which received His rebuke, and a great calm followed. (Mark 4:39) Because of His tenderness toward His own, Jesus did not waste time taking offence. Instead, He wasted no time taking care of the problem that had caused His disciples so much anxiety and fear.

This also happened to two sisters, Martha and Mary, who did not hesitate to let Jesus know how they felt when He finally showed up days after their brother Lazarus had died. Both sisters made the same remark to Him: “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” (John 11:21, 32)

Both sisters had seen Jesus’ miracles of mercy and love. Now, in their grief, they focused on how He could have prevented their brother’s death, but did not. They did not know His heart — how tender it was toward them and how His help would never fail them, but would even extend to raising their dead brother. (John 11:41–44)

Beloved, your heavenly Father sees you trying to stay afloat when you are in the midst of a storm. He sees you trying to provide for yourself and your family, and thinking, “If I don’t take care of these things, no one else will!” And He wants you to know how tender His heart is toward you, how He is not offended by all the bad things you have ever said of or to Him. He wants you to know how much He wants to and will help and bless you. So let go and experience afresh the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward you!

Blessed In More Ways Than One by Joseph Prince

Blessed In More Ways Than One by Joseph Prince

Romans 5:1
1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

We are not trying to get peace with God. We already have peace with God, having been justified by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ. This peace with God brings us the peace of God, which guards our hearts and minds. (Philippians 4:7) Then, the peace of God inside us will also translate into the peace of God outside us — in all our outward circumstances.

Firstly, we will find that what would normally cause us much care and anxiety will no longer be the case. Secondly, not only will everything turn out well, but we will also be blessed in more ways than one. This is what happens when Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is our peace.

A church member, though stricken with cancer, enjoyed the peace of God, knowing that He was her healer. She later received confirmation from two different doctors that she had been completely healed of cancer. In addition to receiving her blessing of complete healing, she also received from her insurance company a critical illness claim of S$50,000!

Another church member, upon hearing news of her retrenchment, committed the matter to God, believing that He would work all things out for her, especially her loss of a regular income. Shortly after, she received her retrenchment package — a substantial five-figure sum. And within days of her retrenchment, she received calls from her contacts in the industry, offering her jobs, two of which were jobs in well-known multinational corporations (MNCs).

At that time, she had not yet started looking for a job, so the calls were unexpected but welcomed. She finally opted to work for one of the MNCs — a dream come true for her — at a salary that was 30 per cent more than her previous one! When she simply prayed, “Abba Father, I trust You to look after me,” and rested in His love and peace, she was abundantly blessed.

Beloved, because Jesus is your peace, you are blessed in more ways than one. Your soul will prosper. Your health will prosper. Your finances will prosper. Your loved ones will be taken care of. Your relationships will flourish. You will enjoy the favor of God. All because you have the Prince of Peace!

I Forgive by Faith and not through my feelings....

Thank you for this devotional today my Lord. Now I know at least how to forgive.
I forgive by Faith not through my feelings. In Jesus mighty name Amen!

Forgive And Let God Do The Rest by Joseph Prince

Ephesians 4:32
32And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

People like to say, “I can forgive, but I cannot forget.” Have you heard that before? Now, in the first place, nowhere in the Bible does God tell you to forgive and then to forget. It is not in the Bible! The devil is adding something here to make the whole thing burdensome.

God only tells us to forgive because God in Christ has forgiven us a debt we cannot pay. When we do this, we do ourselves a favor because harboring bitterness and unforgiveness can sometimes destroy our health!

So just forgive and let God take care of the rest. When you really forgive, sometimes, He makes you forget. But sometimes, you still remember the incident because it was a major thing in your life. Yet, when you look back at it, the pain is no more there. The sting is gone and you are not bitter.

Joseph had forgiven his brothers before they came and bowed before him. He remembered what they did to him, but he did not remember it with bitterness. (Genesis 50:15–21) So you may remember the incident, but the bitterness is gone because you have put the cross in the picture — “God in Christ forgave me. Daddy, I forgive you. Mama, I forgive you. My cousin, I forgive you.”

When you forgive, forgive by faith, not by your feelings. We walk by faith, not feelings. (2 Corinthians 5:7) Some people are waiting for feelings — “I am waiting, Father, for the right emotion to come on me to forgive that person.” That “right emotion” may never come!

No, forgive by faith, and do it once and for all. Spend time in prayer. Take out your diary and write it down: “Father, I bring this person before you. You know what he did to me. Father, as You forgave me through Jesus’ cross, even though I did not deserve it, by faith, I now forgive this person and I let my anger against him go in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

Once you forgive by faith, you will see the sting of bitterness removed from your heart. You will experience the peace and joy of God filling your mind, and see a greater measure of wholeness in your body!

God's love for you is forever!

It's rainy sunday here in Singapore and you know what,
I've realized, all things in this world change.

Weather has its season.
People change. Friendship and relationship fails. World economy has its ups and downs. Your mind change.

I've learnt there's only one thing that never changed.

Guess what.

.....pause.

It's God's love for you.

How am I so sure of it?

Just look at the cross.

God gave up His only Beloved Son, Jesus so you and I can be saved.
So we can enjoy His love, protection, healing, restoration and blessings forever.

His death has become our LIFE. And forever, we are reunited with Him because of Jesus!

Amazing, right?

I can only say,

Halleluyaaaaaah!

Hillsong Kids - God So Loved The World

Halleluyaaaaah!

Hillsong Kids - King of Majesty

kids are sooooooo blessed!
Congrats to the parents who have done a good job!

Jesus Is my Super Hero - Hiilsong Kids

Oh how I love watching kids praising Jesus!
I feel like I wana start all over, feel like a kid again, but this time
with Jesus in my life.

woooohoooooo!
Enjoy !

JESUS satisfies my Soul...

When I was a kid,
Of course I wanted lots of toys to play around with.(which most of them were only dreams because my parents couldn't afford them. Lolx)

As years went by with age and adulthood, my wants and needs deliberately changed unto the ever-changing, complicated, unsatisfied world.

Variety of wants/needs from my career, demands in my relationship, friends and loved ones. Expectations that always failed. All wrapped up in one system called "worldly life."

Back then, I was spiritually bankrupt. I knew I was breathing in , out but that was it.

Everything was empty.

Suddenly these things
had gotten into me.

I thought it was normal to stay happy for just a little while, and when it's over, it's time to get sad, depressed, frustrated and all. Everyone was accepting it naturally. It's part of being human, they say. If you don't feel it, then you are not human .you are maybe a robot. Ahahah!

Knowing not the truth. Ok I admit, I believe that crap for years!

Years went by....
problems, depression, frustrations , unhappiness, brokenheart dominated
my entire being. It was a cycle that made me
almost choked life out of it. Got really bored with life.

Really.

One time,
I poked myself and said,
"Hey Do I ever have a soul to keep??"

Tired of referring to man for the answers, for the last time I asked God,
"God!!! Is this my purpose on earth? To cry, sigh, feel the pain, get really bored, have a brokenheart now and then, be hurt???"

(pause. )

You see,
maybe God heard my cry back then.

Forward to Now?
All I can say is that,
I feel soooooo awesome for the past 3 years. And each day it just keep getting more exciting!

I don't know what it is.
Something just hit me with joy that is sooooo beautiful cuz it's coming from the inside that lasts and not from external events (which are temporary).

And I've concluded,
the answer to my depressing thoughts is one person.

And his name is

JESUS.

Yessssss!

Ohhhh what a beautiful name!

J*E*S*U*S....

Boy I'm so glad God led me to Him. Thank you to Pastor Joseph Prince Ministry!

Just so you know, at first, it wasn't that easy because I was actually making it so hard.
So hard to believe that all you gotta do to have this awesome life that I'm having right now
is just to say, "YES!" to Jesus!

I know that you know. But let's move on.

I just need to share with you, that contrary to what the world believes in about having lots of $$$ , awesome cars, power, holidays, etc can give you happiness is true.
It's good to have those but it's bad when you put your trust and source of happiness in it because the fact is, it's only TEMPORARY.

You might have a bit of security BUT it's TEMPORARY.

When the time comes that it's eating you all
up, and it just shuts down on you, you're gona dig holes along with it too.

Me? Though I need some doughs, I am confirmed not to get swayed by it. That's why I've started to tithe. (Will post a thread on tithing soon.)

You see, I may have one of the best gadgets in the world like the ipad or iphone or macs , but these things are just "things".
You can use them as a tool but never expect it to be your source of joy or peace. Same goes to your relationships. Don't expect or demand from them because people fail.
These are shaky grounds and they can't satisfy your soul....

Only Jesus can satisfy your soul.

Only in Jesus you can expect much and take for more.

Only in Jesus you can have lasting peace and joy.

Don't aim to be happy.
Aim to be joyful. Because happiness depends in the happ-enings around you. While joy is within.

Friends, start to make Jesus as your source of wisdom and what comes after that is pure, unshakeable and
eternal peace no matter what the circumstance are. :)

I am not there yet, but it's happening.

Let me say it again...:)

When Jesus is in you,
You are standing on a solid, unshakeable ground!

This is what you call pure VICTORY!

Thank you Jesus!

Halleluyaaaaah!!

"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Psalm 37:4

God's word us health to our flesh!

My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your sight;
Keep them in the midst of your heart.
For they are life to those who find them
And health to all their body.
Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life.

Aging, Fainting or Believing?

When someone's birthday is coming and when it's obvious to know that one can't really escape aging.. You can't help but sigh. There's an excitement part that stirs you up inside but there's also sadness that tears you apart.

My birthday is almost coming. Well, not that soon but it's gona happen in few weeks time from now on.

For years, fears eluded me with this horrible thought.
"Oh, nooooo I'm getting old! What happens when I grow old? Is it ok to be old? You see, as one ages, he grows weak and sickly. Honestly, I don't like that Lord. "

Panics.

Mmmmmm..
Who wants to grow older than you think possible??

Not me, of course.

Actually, I am like Peter Pan!lolx!

But you see, if you can't avoid aging. Then I thought there must be some ways to enjoy the process. No, not Botox or any surgery ok? Hahah!

I want the Supernatural way!

This morning, as I was so engrossed in that thought,

Lo and behold!

God has given me some answers to ponder and celebrate!

He says,

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

-Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Halleluyaaaah!

I am one of those who "wait upon the Lord...."

So, I am claiming that!

I will be healthy as I grow!
I shall live well and strong because God says so!

Same thing will happen to my loved ones and to all those who believe too!

Now, isn't this something AWESOME to shout about?

Halleluyaaaaaah!!!

Halleluyaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

Halleluyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

:)

Have a blessed Monday everyone!

May God's word make you smile today. :)

Disapppointments...disappointments...disappointments

Disappointments...
Disappointments...
Disappointments.

It's inevitible and while you're still breathing....it will always breathe you. Grabbing and taking hold of you from the neck up. Choking you.

So,
What to do when it happens to you?

Guess what, I have realized
It's always NOT "what you're gona do or what you're trying to do. "

It is "Who is with you. "

I've experienced disappointments lately.
I tried to be very patient about it, you know play smart and thought about creative things so as to get out from that loop real quick.

But to no avail.

It's still happening.
The more you avoid it,
The closer it gets.

For ordinary people, it's normal.

But hey!!!

I am no ordinary person.

I am a child of God!

Amen?

So these "disappointments" are not meant to bring me down everytime it happens.

I got Jesus.

Like i just said, "it's not what you're trying to do. It's WHO is with you..."

Me?

I got Jesus.
And guess what,

I know these disappointments are here and there and everywhere.
But for now, what's happening to me, while feeling this pain just amazes me.

It's just so awesome to know that this emotion is not actually eating up my soul like it used to!

Woooohoooo!

You see,
I know it's just there somewhere floating ready to grab hold of me as its prey!
Instead...
Right at this moment, while blogging this all out, I feel so light, calm and cool.

I feel the peace within.
That PEACE that Jesus' promises in the bible.
You might wana ask me,
Why do I know that PEACE comes from Jesus?

Because He always tells me so..

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

John 14:27

The way things are. It's a fact,
you can never change things and make it agree to your expectations.
So the way to do it, is

to look within.

Give up.

Talk it out to Jesus and
everything will be alright!

Halleluyaaah!

Yeah. Thats me talkin.

Give it all up to Jesus!

It's lunch time here in Singapore Beloveds!

Have a blessed and great day ahead!
