Don’t Be Afraid To Start Small by Joseph Prince

Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.
Proverbs 13:4, NLT

Don’t Be Afraid To Start Small

When the economy’s bad and jobs are hard to come by, don’t sit at home waiting for that “perfect” job. Whatever turns up, as long as it’s a decent job, grab it and do it heartily!

My friend, don’t despise the day of small beginnings. Whatever has been placed in your hand to do right now, thank God for it and give it your best. Today’s scripture tells us that “those who work hard will prosper.” So if it’s your job to flip burgers, be the best burger flipper in town! Do it as unto the Lord and trust His favor to promote you.

As you work with a spirit of excellence and put your trust in Jesus’ unmerited favor, He will honor His Word in your life. He will bless the work of your hands, give you favor with those you work with and cause you to experience increase!

It's OK to give up

In life, we always want something new and fun.

to try a different direction ....fulfill a dream.

or accept a challenge.

There's no problem with that.

I have always been a doer.

If there's something new in front of me,

new opportunity perhaps, like business ...I don't hesitate

to give it a try and be bold to accept the challenge. no matter what.

because let's face it, I don't want to retire when I'm already 50.

(there are still alot of better things to do than being stuck
in a four-walled environment.)

I don't think of failing at all.

Few months back, I joined a travel club.

It's a travel networking company where you can also have it as your

own business.

There's a monthly membership fee of $60 US...$77 in Singapore.

the company is very promising I tell you. They are not scam.

I love their energy, motivation and trainings.

They are dynamic people.

You can check the whole business concept in here www.travelpresentation.com

I will just speak for myself and my own experience,
like I said, the company has no problem at all.
They are great.

After several months of being a member,

my network has grown for like 120+ members below me..

They all come from spillovers from my associates...that's doing nothing at all!

Yes, it's great and lately the group is very active in expanding this awesome

opportunity throughout Asia.

the problem is....me!

I am not a good inviter.

I am having a hard time convincing people to come and check out my business.

I am not a good communicator either.

sigh...yes! that's me..

And I have been praying to Jesus to give me wisdom to accept the things that I cannot change and maybe He can just use me and my talents somewhere.

Even if the travel features are amazing! You can go to Greece, Italy, and my dreamland Israel for like $130 for 3 days. it's really cheap but the obstacle again is on my side...I am not ready financially..although Jesus has always been a good provider to me, I know everything that's "good" always come in His own perfect timing.

So right now, I don't know...

I think I'm gonna have to say bye bye to worldventures for awhile.

I will just come back when He will let me.

...and when He will make ready...

Maybe not on the business side anymore

but on the fun and pleasure side.

I'm a bit sad...but I still believe He will restore everything that I have lost in this venture.

Well, I still have some few days left to decide to cancel my membership.

I am not encouraging you all to give this a shot
but I still want to share this with you anyway and see for yourself.

Parents are Parents

My Singaporean colleague has this new book of Joel Osteen on his table.
I accidentally saw the first page on it and found out that it was given to him by his dad and mom.

I say WOW!

He is sooooo blessed to have such parents like that.
You know pointing and leading him to one awesome God and savior through this powerful teachings like Joel Osteen.

My parents were different.
My dad ( who is now in heaven) taught me some few things about traditional religion. Like we must go to church every sunday, clean the house because "cleanliness is next to godliness",etc.

My mom ( now 68 years old and in Philippines) was just ok. Go with the flow. I really couldn't remember if I went to church with her. Mmmmm...

Never mind.

My point is.

Your life is your life. And you have your own choices and decisions to make. You are all responsible to them.

I didn't know Jesus as my Lord through my parents. I got to know Him here in Singapore by my colleague who is now I consider a "brother like no other". He is Singaporean. And I am thankful to him from the deepest chamber of my heart for leading me back to Jesus.

Now, I can say my life is AWESOME!

My another point is.

If you're mom and dad are like my colleague's... Rejoice and be thankful for them. I tell you, they are rare.

But. But. But.

If you're in some kind of a situation where you hate your parents because they nag or disappoint you all the time, trying to control your life, demands so much from you, I say...

Relax!

Everything has a reason.
Now, you're responsibility is how to arrange your mind or thinking to accept it and do something about it.

But you cannot do it alone.

You need Jesus all the way.

So I say, whatever it is that's going through your life right now
just talk it out Jesus and let Him lead you to the right people, friends , connections and network to know the truth... His truth.

Because Jesus' truth shall set you free!

Right now, let me introduce you to my pastor Joseph Prince. Google him. He is in youtube too. Listen to his teachings and start from there. You can also listen to Victoria and Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer.

Keep notes on these wonderful preachers because they have blessed me so much with their teachings.

Ok.

That's all for now.

Talk soon!
Oh by the way,
You can check out on this book of Joel Osteen too.
Heard this is very powerful!

Shalom now.

God bless.

100 Days Of Favor : Day 74

Day 74:

Father, because of Your unconditional love and grace toward me, I am a blessed man who is like an evergreen tree planted by the waters.
I thank You that when the heat is on, I will not be fearful or anxious. I will not even notice it because I am covered by Your favor and lovingkindness. Indeed, Father, You will protect me, provide for me, keep me strong and healthy, and cause me to remain fruitful!

Rest

"Rest"

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
—Matthew 11:28 (NLT)

When you’re so tired you can hardly stand, doesn’t it feel wonderful when you finally get to sink into your own bed? Your body relaxes; your breathing slows; your bones just seem to melt into the mattress. And you rest.

Just as your body gets tired, so does your spirit. Trying to do the right thing can really wear you out sometimes, especially if everyone around you is doing what’s wrong. Sometimes you just need a break.

Come to Me. Lift up your hands in prayer to Me. Lie back and rest in My Presence. Take a deep breath of My Peace. I will refresh you and give you the strength to keep going.

Love,
Jesus

Jesus Saved My Saturday

Something happened to me and my dog last Saturday that I experienced God's fulfillment of one of His promises - that's He will never leave me nor forsake me.

It wasn't a between life and death situation.

Me and my dog was just locked outside our home because I forgot to bring the key with me.

Everyone in the house went out and oh nooooo! Baby (my dog's name) and me were outside for like half an hour.

At first, I was calm and relaxed.

But when I felt the boredom and wasted time, I seek Jesus help.

I didn't have any phone or cash with me so I just told Jesus to do what He wants to do. I trust Him.

Been quite a few minutes stucked upstairs, I decided to take Baby with me on the ground again.

We took the lift...

And when the lift's door swung open and after 1 or 2 steps from it....

Guess what!

I saw $10 bill on the floor!!

Huwaaaaaah!

I paused for awhile looking around if someone might have dropped it. But no one's in there anymore.

So I told Jesus, "Jesus, if this is Your way of saving me and Baby thank You! I will return this $10 to whoever needs it. I just need to make a call now ."

So off I go and was about to change $10 bill to coins for the payphone. But sadly, I had a hard time leaving Baby outside the grocery. It wasn't so convenient for her. So when a lady passed by, I just asked her to change it for me. But blessing again, and pure unmerited favor, the lady just gave me $1 coin to make that call.

And Voila!

Baby and my life was back to normal!

Thank You Jesus!

I will return the $10 bill by donating it on our church. Or maybe give it to the needy people that I keep seeing on the streets?

What do you think?

I pray that God will return back the $10 and more to the person who lost it. Bless her/him Lord.

I am smiling right now as I am typing this.

Need I say more?

It's awesome to have a savior like Jesus, right?

I encourage you all to just keep on trusting Jesus.

No matter how small or big , simple or tough the situation is.
Just communicate to Jesus everyday. He loves it.

And as you develop that habit of trusting, communicating with Jesus, your relationship with Him will become UNSHAKEABLE!

Amen?

Ameeeeen!

God bless everyone!

Talk soon.

Pray in the Spirit

Have you tried praying in tongues?

It's God's gift to us His children so we can communicate to Him through the spirit.

Sometimes or most of the times, we pray based on what we see and how we feel.

We really don't know what's behind our every thoughts and longings.

If we pray in tongues, we pray for something that's not seen by our naked eyes.

Because it's through the spirit...

And the spirit knows well.

Just try it.

If you haven't done it yet, you can ask God for guidance on how to do it.

Take the first step.

What I did last time was just move my tongue...something like mumbling silently.

Then I think of Jesus while doing it.

You're gonna sound like you're speaking in a different language.

So do not worry. Just let it flow.

Let the spirit pray for you.

It's 100% safer and effective..

In time, you will feel that it's refreshing you..

So just take it slow.

Meditate On

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
Psalm 37:23, NLT
Led By The Spirit
God wants you to commit every matter to Him so that He can direct your steps and lead you to success. It delights Him to see His children overcoming every challenge and enjoying good success.

The Bible tells us that God has given us His Holy Spirit to lead us and teach us all things, and to bring to our remembrance God’s Word (John 14:26). So when you meditate on His Word and trust the Spirit to open up the scriptures to you, the Spirit will reveal the Lord’s grace for you through the scriptures you are meditating on. He will shed light about God’s heart, favor and supply that is specific to your need, and lead you with inward promptings to do what is best in your situation.

I’ve also found that praying often in the Spirit sensitizes me to His leading and promptings. So pray in tongues often and expect Him to lead you by His wisdom, peace and right timing to experience blessed results.

Beloved, take time today to be still, to meditate and to pray, and watch Him direct you to success!

God Has A Purpose For You

Saw this photo from my Facebook newsfeeds.

I used to think like this.

I always thought,
I was born to suffer in this mad, fallen world!

I saw sickness, poverty, death, wars everywhere.

It was very heartbreaking and frustating.

On the way to work, I would always ask myself about my purpose. About life and death.

But now,
Thank God, I've come to know Him and His plans for me.

All because of Jesus!

The truth that God indeed is a good God by giving up His Son Jesus to redeem me from this mad world has truly set me free!

Yea.

taxes, financial lack, sickness and death is a cycle here on earth.

But in God's world ,
it's totally different!
Because God only wants the BEST for you. (Jeremiah 29:11) and Jesus came to give you life
and a purpose!

If you worry about financial lack,
Read God's promise of being a provider in the BiBle..Read PSALM 23.

If you worry about your sickness,
God has the answer to it.

By Jesus' stripes!
You have been healed!
Isaiah 53:5

If you worry about wars, calamities, tsunamis, deadly disease read about PSALM 91 !

It's never ending, my friend.

Feel blessed because for every question that you have in mind,
God has already the answer...

It's all in the Bible.

Post one of your life's question below and I will try to answer them with God's word and promises.

Develop a Good Habit

If you can develop a bad habit,
I believe you can develop a good habit too.

Me?

Yes. I will try and try and try to develop a "good" habit.

What is it?

That's putting my trust on Jesus ,
all the way! No matter what comes my way.

Because problems in life are temporary. In Jesus, the sun always shines!

Amen!!!

So, my friend, if you're in a so-called bad situation right now,
STOP worrying about it.

And START worshipping Jesus instead!

Develop a habit of talking to Him...talk through your heart.
because in this world, even if you talk your problems to anyone, your parents, bestfriend, or bf/gf
no one really understands what you're going through except Jesus!

Try it.

Keep doing it.

Rest and trust in Jesus.

and see His miracles unfolds in your life soon!

Sharing another powerful truth from Joseph Prince.

On my way to New Creation for the 3rd service.

Be blessed now and till next time.

❤❤❤❤❤❤
Meditate On

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.
Psalm 1:1–2
Run With God’s Counsel
In today’s scripture, we see the psalmist describing the habits of a man that cause him to be blessed by the Lord. Notice how the blessed man “walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.”

This means that the blessed man doesn’t depend on the advice of “experts” who are independent of and don’t honor God. Neither does he follow those who plot the downfall of others in order to prosper. And he doesn’t participate in cynical coffee shop talk! The man who does these things then is someone who doesn’t trust the Lord but fallible man and self. And he doesn’t meditate on God’s ways, but the ways of the world.

Beloved, don’t choose this path. Choose instead to trust wholeheartedly in Jesus by meditating day and night on His Word and His ways. And it will be a matter of time before you experience His blessings and success in all that you do!
