Be Christ-Conscious

Be conscious of what's happening in this world.
Earthquakes, Tsunamis, financial downturns, murders,

and you'll see darkness.

You will see death!

Be conscious of Jesus.

Feel His love, acceptance, Peace and eternal joy..

and you'll see LIFE!!!

------

Be Christ-Conscious

Ephesians 1:7
7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Have you ever woken up in the morning and said, “Today, I will not sin.” And as you leave your house, you say, “I must be careful not to fall into sin today. I don’t want to sin. I will not sin!” My friend, when you do this, you are no longer Christ-conscious but sin-conscious, even though you have not sinned yet.

Men, have you ever caught yourself thinking, “I don’t want to look at any woman in case I lust”? You are being sin-conscious when you think like that. And sooner or later, you will lust in your heart. You may not sin outwardly, but you will sin inwardly.

Have you also tried confessing every sin? I have! As a teenager, when a bad thought came, I would quickly say, “I’m sorry, Lord. Forgive me for this thought in Jesus’ name.” Then, another thought would come and I would quickly say, “Forgive me, Lord, for that thought in Jesus’ name.” Then, if I happen to doubt His forgiveness, I would confess my unbelief and ask for forgiveness: “Forgive me, Lord, for doubting You.” Before I knew it, I was oppressed in my mind and so sin-conscious instead of Christ-conscious!

My friend, when you fall into sin, God wants you to be Christ-conscious. This means that when you have missed it, God wants you to be conscious that in Christ, you have forgiveness of sins through His blood. God wants you to be conscious that Christ was wounded and bruised for your sins, and that the chastisement for your peace was upon Him. (Isaiah 53:5)

When you are Christ-conscious, you will have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1) You will know that you are the righteousness of God in Christ because He who knew no sin was made sin for you. (2 Corinthians 5:21) He took your sin and now you have His righteousness.

So when you fall, don’t be conscious of your failure and feel bad or condemned. Instead, be conscious of who you are in Christ, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and continue your walk with God!

How to keep the good fight of Faith?

You cannot say that you have Faith when everything's going well and great in your end.
Everyone can do that and can claim that 'God is great! And awesome!" as long as things are going right and perfect for them.

But what if something went wrong? And everything is hopeless just like what happened to Job.

If you are like Job. Then congratulations!

But what if you'll be confused and the way things have turned around is making you think if God really loves you or not?

Well, don't think more.

My advice, just keep listening to His Words. Like listening to some anointing audios like Ps Joseph Prince, Joyce Meyer, Joel Olsteen Jr, and many others for inspirations and encouragements.
The more pain, confusions you have the more you need to listen for more and double the dose.

Don't just sit there and say
" Duuh, How come these things are happening to me. I am a good Christian. Where are you Lord? Its not meant to be this way!"

Power up your ipod and listen!
Because your ears are not meant to listen to your pathetic thoughts.

Just listen to Him.
And
read stuffs that assure you of His love.
Because if you realise how much you are loved by Him.
Everything will change.

Trust me. The next time you'll know you're back on your feet praising Him again and again.

It's Sunday!

It's time for New Creation and soak in His love!

Have a great Sunday everyone!!

Hardrock Hotel @ResortWorld Sentosa

While everyone is excited for the opening of Resort World this Monday,
I spent our Friday night at the new Hardrock Hotel @Resort World Sentosa.

I am so blessed to have the opportunity in staying overnight at one of the most expensive hotel rooms I know here in Singapore!

The best part is.

This morning as I was waiting for my friends, I got bored and had decided to explore the room. Fix the bed, turn on the ipod and then opened the drawers.

To my surprise I saw this.

Yes! The Bible!!!
God is good He keeps reminding me of His presence everywhere. I soooo love it!

Thank you Abba.

Of course, I opened it
and a chance to read few chapters of Job.

Cool ha?

It is an awesome Saturday today.

Will post more of the Resort world adventure on my next thread.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Heyy, have I mentioned that
These are all for FREE?

*winks!

Be Still by Derri Daugherty

My Daily Verse : Zechariah 9:12

Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope!
I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.

Only Hope by Switchfoot

There's a song that's inside of my soul
It's the one that I've tried to write over and over again
I'm awake and in the infinite cold
But You sing to me over and over and over again
So I lay my head back down
And I lift my hands
And pray to be only Yours
I pray to be only Yours
I know now You're my only hope
Sing to me of the song of the stars
Of Your galaxy dancing and laughing
and laughing again
When it feels like my dreams are so far
Sing to me of the plans that You have for me over again
I give You my apathy
I'm giving You all of me
I want Your symphony
Singing in all that I am
At the top of my lungs
I'm giving it back

My Daily Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:19-20

“that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:19-20)

Few years ago, some Christian teachings had taught me to fear God because
of my failings, sins and just being me. Every day I fail, and the more I learnt
about those failures in me, it made me stay away from God for years!

Even dislike Him.

See, you must be careful of what teachings and church you go to.
If you're in a church that's giving you a lot of stress about youself ,
tells you to do this and that so you can be acceptable in God's eyes,
I say, LET IT GO!!

It's better not to go in there than suffer and be stressful all the time.
Making you more conscious if you've done the right thing or not.
Hellooo!
Waking up in the morning is stressful enough, don't you think??

My advice?
Just keep talking to Him when you're alone and pray that He will lead you to His truth.
He will lead you..I'm sure of that.

Me?
I am now enjoying a church that does not expect the best of me because
my church knows how imperfect I am -- the new Creation church here in Singapore.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow...I'd still sin.

That's why God sent JESUS so we can be reunited with Him
inspite of our failures!

If we just believe!

I am now stress-free because of that TRUTH.

Now I am truly having that kind of fun and

VICTORY through JESUS!!!

because through JESUS , God sees me perfect.

HALLELUYAAAAAAAH!!!!
