God Is For You, Not Against You
Romans 8:31
31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Are you faced with challenges in your life right now? Are you having marital problems and financial woes? Maybe your child is going astray or an old illness has returned. What then will you say to all these things?
Do you know what God wants you to say? He wants you to say, “If God is for me, who can be against me?”
If you knew that the President or the Prime Minister was for you, you might believe that everything will be okay. But you have an even better backing! The Bible tells us that God, the Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, is for you! What problem can fasten its grip on you when the Almighty God is for you? Can the devil come successfully against you with God on your side?
If God is for you today, if God is for you right now, you don’t have to moan, “If only I had this… If only I didn’t say that…” And you don’t have to worry about the future: “What if this happens… What if we don’t have enough…” My friend, regretting the past and worrying about the future won’t change anything. Look to your heavenly Father, instead. Because He is for you at this present moment, you can be confident that He will help you and provide for you.
Beloved, God sent His Son to die for you. And Jesus gave you a blood-bought right to an abundant life full of meaning and purpose! He gave you a blood-bought right to walk in divine health all the days of your life! He gave you a blood-bought right to prosperity even when the economy goes down!
You have all these things not because you deserve them, but because Jesus shed His blood and gave you the right to have them. All these blessings are yours today because God is for you! And if God is for you, who can be against you!

LET'S ROCK 'N ROLL!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!
Come To The River by Parachute Band
Let me drink from the living water,
Bringing life to my very core.
In the midst of my desperation, Jesus.
When I'm dry running on the empty,
Flow your streams of life through me.
You're the life giving water, Jesus.
Come, Come, Come to the river,
You are the living water.
Wash me clean, wash me clean.
In this place we have found freedom,
Cleansing streams have set us free.
You are all that we ever need, Jesus, Jesus.
Come, Come, Come to the river,
You are the living water.
Wash me clean, wash me clean.
Come, Come, Come to the river,
You are the living water.
Come through me, wash me clean.
I give You all of the praise,
No one else will ever take Your place, Your place.
I give You all of my days
No one else will ever take Your place, Your place.
Come, Come, Come to the river,
You are the living water.
Wash me clean, wash me clean.
Come, Come, Come to the river,
You are the living water.
Flow through me, wash me clean.
Let me drink from the living water,
Bringing life to my very core.
In the midst of my desperation, Jesus.
When I'm dry running on the empty,
Flow your streams of life through me.

Come, Come, Come to the river,

Living Rain by Parachute Band with lyrics
Living Rain
We Your people come
In desperate need to You we run
Called by Your great name
With humble hearts we seek Your ways
We believe in faith
Your promises will never break
Turn from wicked ways
To live as Christ for all our days
Oh God high up in heaven
Won't You heal our land
Living rain, fall again
Over my life over my land
Living rain wash my heart again
Open wide, heaven skies
Over my street oh Spirit reside
Living rain flood my life again
Come back, back to your first love
Back to your first love
Back to the Cross
Come back, back to your first love
Back to your first love
At the foot of the Cross
We Your people come
In desperate need to You we run
Called by Your great name
With humble hearts we seek Your ways
We believe in faith
Your promises will never break
Turn from wicked ways
To live as Christ for all our days
Oh God high up in heaven
Won't You heal our land
Living rain, fall again
Over my life over my land
Living rain wash my heart again
Open wide, heaven skies
Over my street oh Spirit reside
Living rain flood my life again
Come back, back to your first love
Back to your first love
Back to the Cross
Come back, back to your first love
Back to your first love
At the foot of the Cross
By Jesus’ Stripes You Are Healed
Just what I needed because I feel a little unwell today.
As it is written, "By Jesus stripes I am healed!!!"
Wellness for everyone who believes!
Halleluyaaaaah!!!

By Jesus’ Stripes You Are Healed
Isaiah 53:5
5… The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
You know, one of the biggest outcries against Mel Gibson’s movie, The Passion Of The Christ, was that it was too violent, especially the part where Jesus was scourged.
Let me tell you this: It was not violent enough! The Bible says that at the cross, Jesus’ visage was marred beyond that of any man. (Isaiah 52:14) In the movie, even after all the beatings, the actor James Caviezel, who played Jesus, still looked quite handsome.
But the reality is that when Jesus hung on the cross, He had “no form or comeliness… there is no beauty that we should desire Him”. (Isaiah 53:2) He was beaten to a pulp until His face looked like jelly hanging out!
In the movie, when they scourged Him, only a small portion of His bones was exposed, so it was still quite tidy. But the messianic psalms say, “The plowers plowed on my back; they made their furrows long” (Psalm 129:3), and “I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me”. (Psalm 22:17) All His bones were exposed!
My friend, He was thinking of you when the soldiers tied Him to the scourging post. As they raised their whips, He said, “Let it all come on Me!”
But what came on Him was not just the whip stripping the flesh off His bare back, but your sicknesses and diseases. Each time He was whipped, every form of sickness and disease, including arthritis, cancer, diabetes, bird flu and dengue fever, came upon Him. “The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”
Today, healing is your right because Jesus has paid the price for your healing. So if the devil says, “You cannot be healed,” just declare, “Jesus has paid for my healing. Disease has no right to be in my body. I am healed in Jesus’ name!”
Every curse of sickness that was supposed to fall on you fell on Jesus instead. He bore every one of those stripes, so that you can walk in divine health all the days of your life. The price has been paid so that you can rise up and get out of your bed of affliction!

Carrot, Egg and Coffee
Carrot, Egg and Coffee ,,,,
A carrot, an egg, and a cup of
coffee...you will never look at a cup of
coffee the same way again.
A young woman went to her mother and
told her about her life and how things
were so hard for her. She did not know
how she was going to make it and wanted
to give up. She was tired of fighting
and struggling. It seemed as one problem
was solved, a new one arose.
Her mother took her to the kitchen. She
filled three pots with water and placed
each on a high fire. Soon the pots came
to boil. In the first she placed
carrots, in the second she placed eggs,
and in the last she placed ground coffee
beans. She let them sit and boil,
without saying a word. In about twenty
minutes she turned off the burners. She
fished
the carrots out and placed them in a
bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed
them in a bowl. Then she ladled the
coffee out and placed it in a bowl.
Turning to her daughter, she asked,
"Tell me what you see."
"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.
Her mother brought her closer and asked
her to feel the carrots. She did and
noted that they were soft. The mother
then asked the daughter to take an egg
and break it. After pulling off the
shell, she observed the hard boiled egg.
Finally, the mother asked the daughter
to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled
as she tasted its rich aroma. The
daughter then asked, "What does it mean,
mother?"
Her mother explained that each of these
objects had faced the same adversity:
boiling water. Each reacted differently.
The carrot went in strong, hard, and
unrelenting. However, after being
subjected to the boiling water, it
softened and became weak. The egg had
been fragile. Its thin outer shell had
protected its liquid interior, but after
sitting in the boiling water, its inside
became hardened. The ground coffee beans
were unique, however. After they were
in the boiling water, they had changed
the water.
"Which are you?" she asked her daughter.
"When adversity knocks on your door, how
do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg
or a coffee bean?
Think of this: Which am I?
Am I the carrot that seems strong, but
with pain and adversity do I wilt and
become soft and lose my strength?
Am I the egg that starts with a
malleable heart, but changes with the
heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but
after a death, a breakup, a financial
hardship or some other trial, have I
become hardened and stiff? Does my shell
look the same, but on the inside am I
bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and
hardened heart?
Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean
actually changes the hot water, the very
circumstance that brings the pain. When
the water gets hot, it releases the
fragrance and flavor.
If you are like the bean, when things
are at their worst, you get better and
change the situation around you. When
the hour is the darkest and trials are
their greatest, do you elevate yourself
to another level?
How do you handle adversity? Are you a
carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?
May you have enough happiness to make
you sweet, enough trials to make you
strong, enough sorrow to keep you human
and enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily
have the best of everything; they just
make the most of everything that comes
along their way.
The brightest future will always be
based on a forgotten past; you can't go
forward in life until you let go of your
past failures and heartaches.
