It’s Jesus’ Unmerited Favor That Transforms You

You are important to Jesus. Know with full assurance in your heart that He knows you perfectly, and yet accepts and loves you perfectly.

When you begin to understand that, you will realize that it is truly that unmerited favor, that favor from Jesus that you know you do not deserve, did not merit and cannot earn for yourself, that will perfect every imperfection and weakness in your life.

If you are facing challenges, such as lack in any area, addictions, fears, sicknesses or broken relationships, Jesus’ unmerited favor will protect, deliver, prosper, bring restoration to and provide for you. His unmerited favor will transform you and make you whole, and it is His goodness, not your striving and self-efforts, that will lead you to live victoriously for His glory.

It’s easy to look at all the things you have to do today—school, chores, homework, practice—and say, “I just can’t do any more.” You want to do good things for Me, but you feel overwhelmed and exhausted by all the other tasks of your day. But remember that you don’t have to rely on your own strength. Reach out to Me and I will help you. Let Me give you My Strength and My energy, which never run out.

Be brave! Step out in faith, and I will step right out with you. Let Me work through you. Together we will do great things for My kingdom.

People search for life in all kinds of ways. They spend their time on fun and pleasures. They buy more stuff. They do whatever it takes to be popular, rich, or famous. They chase after things that won’t even matter in a few years—and certainly not in eternity.

Meanwhile, I am waiting. Look for Me. I am Life! To those who seek Me, I give abundant Life. That means I pour Myself into you—My Joy, My Presence, My Love. I fill you with My purpose and work in this world through you. Not only will your life make a difference on this earth, but also you will build up treasures in heaven. Come to Me, and I will give you the very best life.

So let us run the race that is before us and never give up.

—Hebrews 12:1 (ICB)

It’s easy to feel sorry for yourself—especially when things aren’t going your way, or you feel like everyone is against you, or you are just plain tired of trying so hard all the time. But feeling sorry for yourself is one of the devil’s favorite traps. Don’t even go near it! Once you fall into his trap, it is very hard to get out again.

How can you protect yourself from the devil’s traps? Focus on Me. When you are feeling sorry for yourself, you are thinking only about yourself and your problems. But when you think about Me and praise Me for My Presence, then you won’t stumble into the pit of self-pity. Stay close to Me in your words and thoughts. I will give you the energy to run the race—and to outrun Satan!

Count on Me. - Jesus

This is so good to read. Just about the right time. In Jesus, you won't get frustrated or disappointed forever. Only a few seconds.

No one is perfect—not your best friend, not your mom or your dad, not your sports hero or favorite television star. Sooner or later, someone in your life—someone you really counted on—will let you down. You can end up feeling angry, hurt, and betrayed. You may feel like you are falling, with no one to catch you or help you up. So who can you count on?

Count on Me. I will never let you down. And when others do let you down, I will be your safety net. I will not let you crash. Not only am I always there with you, but I am holding your hand. And I promise, I won’t ever let go.

Whenever you start to feel afraid, remember that I am holding your hand. Nothing can separate you from My Presence!
