The Reason for the Season is Jesus...

Being born from a poor family,

as a kid, I always thought Christmas is about just having gifts

and wishing all your dreams would come true.

Then when I was in my highschool days, I thought

Christmas is just about being with friends you like,

having an awesome family for Noche Buena, exchange gifts, gift-giving and all.

When I started to work and earn my own money,

I thought Christmas was about enjoying the holidays, buying all the things you wished for or thanking God for leaves, offs, vacations, bonuses etc.

Yes.

I could say, I was able to get most of the things that I dreamed of.

I was even able to buy myself my own gifts,

It's cool when you start to earn your own $$$...(really)

But you see, in between those moments,

I wasn't really satisfied deep within.

I thought to myself,

" Is this really Christmas is all about? If it is, then it's so shallow and meaningless."

Then I started to ask questions to God and was able to dig deeper about life.

And I am so blessed that He led me to know that Christmas....is about love.

It's about Jesus who came down to earth as a human being so He could

save us all from hell.

But of course, not everybody is pleased and would believe in this truth.

So people around the world, ( excluding Believers of course) celebrate Christmas

with gift-givings, parties here and there, get drunk and get a migraine after.

Hahah! I am not against all these cuz you see , I am basically a fun person.

My point is,

Christmas.

It is so wonderful that it happens around the world and every year!

Just makes me smile thinking the world is celebrating on my wonderful savior's birth.

But sadly, athough everyone is celebrating it, they never thought of who is the celebrant.

It's like having your own birthday party, but the guests don't know you.

Funny right?

Anyways,

This Christmas, I can truly say, I am grateful for what Jesus has done at the cross.

And our awesome God...wooow!

He really planned all these so you and I could be reunited with Him through Jesus.

How cool is that?

God wants you dude!

Booooy! This is the best gift ever!

You see, material gifts are good for pleasures and happiness.

Celebrations are awesome.

But they are only temporay.

They only give temporary happiness.

But thias truth that I found out, makes me want to jump for joy.

Yes,

Christmas....it is all about my Jesus....

Tomorrow, me and my friends are just going to have a simple dinner to celebrate

with Jesus.

Maybe we would be able to watch some fireworks here in Singapore, that would be awesome.

Yes, I want to celebrate this day with Jesus...

And I am sure, He will be there to celebrate with us too.

He will be very busy around the world.

So that's all my thoughts for today dear friends.

May you have the most special wonderful, Christmas ever!

Forget all your worries for awhile. You got Jesus!

What To Do When You Are Stressed

You know before I was a solid believer or a Christian,
and even if I was already one. I couldn't help but use
foul languages everytime I was pissed, mad , angry or just use it for the fun of it like an expression.

But I realised, using those foul words like the "f" word really didn't benefit me at all.

Even if how many times I scream of it.

Nothing good ever happens.

But you know what,
when I learnt my awesome pastor Joseph Prince, that instead of using those bad languages,
we should use powerful words like
"Thank You Jesus!" in everything.

It pleases Him.

And so far , the benefits or reactions that it gave me are indeed all positive.

It takes out all my stress away and makes me smile even in any bad situation.

You see, our words have power.
So why not use it to praise our Lord Jesus, right?

Try it.

When you feel sad or bad, disappointed or just bored.

Say,

"Thank You Jesus. "

Pause for awhile.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

If you are alone, try doing this with
closed eyes.

In this world,

there will be human being who loves dogs, will fight for dogs and sadly,

abuse or abandon dogs😂..

We cannot blame them because we don't know their situation.

I can however just pray for them.

Also will always be praying for those who have the heart and time in rescuing and saving dogs to give them loads , tons of patience to go through this journey. 

It is tough, challenging and sad or a mixture of all that. 

Especially when the one you are trying to rescue won't make it.

Goodbye Yuna.
You are just 8months old and suffered like this as a pup.

We are sorry we were not around when you took out that last breath.

Surely , you are with Jesus now.

Grab Hold of Hope

When I wasn't still believing the right truth,
I used to have tons of wishes every year.
I wish to have a good life.
I wish to have a good future.
I wish that I would be happy forever.
It was endless actually and fears
set in. Unsure of what my future would become.

And then at the end of the year ,
I would get disappointed because none of them came true.😁

Yes. That was few years back.
Forward to this day,
my fears slowly drifts away.

You know why?

Guess why.

It's because of Jesus!

Now, I am so blessed to have known the truth and to have known Jesus as my blessing.

In Jesus, we have a HOPE that never disappoints!

That in God's world, we have a HOPE that's not purely "wishing".

Meaning, all God's promises of protection (Psalm91), blessings (Psalm23) and favours in the Bible are true and yours and mine because God doesn't know how to lie!

Let me ask you now.
What is it that you're hoping for?

I want you to write it down and
while writing it down ,
you say this..

Dear God, I believe in Your beautiful promises on my future.
I know you only want to give me a good future through Jeremiah 29:11. I believe in Your promises Lord.
Let it be down according to Thy word. "

Grab Hold of Hope!

So God has given both his promise and his oath.

A Matter Of Spirit By Joseph Prince

For years, The Spirit has always been there to point me to the right "truth" of who and what our Almighty God really is.

In this mad, fallen world.

I could be alone.

Even if will be surrounded with lots of friends and relatives or families,
emptiness will never stop poking me.

But alas!

I kept praying Jesus to guide me always. No matter what.

And forward to this day, a veil has been taken out.

I realised, you could do whatever you like in this world (I'm talking about good and positive things here. Or if you've done something as a mistake. Do not worry. As long as you keep Jesus in your heart. He will fix it for you) for the truth that sets you free from all fears is knowing that God is your heavenly Father and He wants a solid and unshakeable relationship with you.

If you are not there yet,
do not be frustrated. We, as Christians are always work in progess.

I suggest, you ask Jesus to always guide you. Do not always depende on feelings if He is there or not cuz feelings deceive.

A Matter Of Spirit

As an heir of God, you have a rich inheritance. All the blessings of your heavenly Father are yours!

“Well, Pastor Prince, if it’s true that I am an heir of God because I’m His son, then why am I still not seeing the blessings?”

I asked the Lord the same question once. I said, “Lord, why is it that there are believers who don’t seem to be blessed despite the fact that they are Your sons and heirs?” The Lord said this to me, “It’s a matter of spirit.” Then, He pointed me to Romans 8:15, NIV—“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’” He was telling me that walking in His blessings has to do with having a spirit of sonship.

How does the spirit of sonship operate? By the cry, “Abba, Father!” The Holy Spirit left the word Abba, meaning “Daddy” or “Papa,” untranslated in Romans 8:15 so that we will know that God wants us to have an intimate relationship with Him. Seeing God as Daddy and calling Him “Daddy” or “Papa” removes any distance and breaks down every barrier between you and God. It brings you into an intimate relationship with God and that’s how the spirit of sonship operates.

So beloved, have a spirit of sonship. Don’t see God as an impersonal, distant being who doesn’t really care how you feel. He isn’t just Almighty God, He is also your Daddy! Have this sense of intimacy with Him all the time and start to walk in a greater measure of your Daddy’s blessings!

But knowing the truth that

No golds and billions could EVER replace that!

Knowing Jesus as my savior
has truly set me free!!!

Let me say that again.

I am unworthy but Jesus died for me!

Oh My Jesus

Jesus...
He is everything that you need.

He is your healer.
He is your peace.
He is your comforter.
He is your financier.
He is your protection.
And so much more!

Just come to Him.
And everything will be alright.
Sometimes it might be tough
but if you let Jesus be your strength,
It's beautiful.

Just trust in Him.
