Look To The Word, Not Natural Facts

Look To The Word, Not Natural Facts

Numbers 21:9
9So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

"Pastor Prince, I know that God is my healer. But why is this sickness and pain still in my body?” If you have been looking at your sickness and pain all this while, stop looking at yourself and start looking at Jesus. Did He or did He not take upon Himself your sickness and pain?

God’s Word declares, “Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, and our pains — he hath carried them…” (Isaiah 53:4, YLT) Since Jesus has already taken your sickness and pain at the cross, then He cannot “untake” them. Even if you find it hard to believe that Jesus has paid for your healing, especially when the pain is unbearable, the truth is that it is still paid for. It is a finished work!

God is not saying that your sickness does not exist, nor is He asking you to pretend that it is not there. He is asking you to look away from the sickness, painful as it may be, and look to the truth that it has already been judged at the cross in the body of His Son.

Once, while still in the wilderness, the children of Israel were bitten by deadly desert serpents. The serpents were real. The bites were painful and deadly. So God told Moses to point the people to the bronze serpent put on a pole — a picture of the cross. (John 3:14) Bronze signifies judgment. In other words, the serpent — their problem — was already judged at the cross.

Those who kept their eyes on the bronze serpent lived. Those who focused on their wounds died. So stop looking at your sickness. Instead, look to the cross and see your sickness already judged in the body of Jesus. Surely He has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains! That is the truth of God’s Word. And His Word supersedes natural facts.

My friend, you let natural facts rule or establish God’s truths over your problem by what you choose to focus on. So decide today not to focus on the facts concerning your problem. Instead, establish the truth of God’s Word and Christ’s finished work over your problem — and live!

  6. you see, not to be "hard"on your kind.

since you are familiar with the "miracles" of Jesus, i am sure you are also very much aware most, if not all jesus "miracles" were...proven or became...factual to the people who witness it?

in other words, if your kind claim the bible said this and this and this....should we expect anything less than what the people witness in the presence of jesus since you claim, this jesus is here and now with us?

if so, perform a REAL miracle that can be officially documented to satisfy the truth seekers and truth lovers

we suggest you get your leaders to walk on water.....ermm...look to the word, not NATURAL FACTS!

  7. ermm...all of us have a "life" and all of us are "healed" depending on who you are talking to and what they are SELLING

    it proves nothing at all.

  8. Different strokes ..for differnt folks.
This devotional have given me a lot of revelations. Good revelations!
I don't know on your kind but
I presume you are most intelligent enough to know whatever that satisfies your mind.
Me? I'm sorry. I am just an ordinary person with Jesus in my life as my healer, protector and comforter. I can only boast on that.
I cannot boast on my faith. For like many others of my kind, it is inconsistent.

My faith? it's still work on progress.
so pls, don't let me work on water. I might get drowned. lolx!

  9. sorry "it's walk on water"..

you want to see man-eating fire instead?

I can point you to a tons of links on youtube.

so what do you believe in?

I am not shoving on your face to believe on what's my pastor is saying.
If you don't care about your soul , that's your choice.
I don't need to walk on water just to prove you anything at all.

Hey! here's a video of Chriss Angel walking on water. watch it.

  10. "If you don't care about your soul , that's your choice.
I don't need to walk on water just to prove you anything at all."

now who said we don't care about our soul? just because we challenge your claims does it make us less "caring" about our soul than you?

we care about our soul as much as you bother to put food in your mouth to keep yourself functioning daily.

the only difference between us and your kind is that we don't make unsubstantiated claims so that we don't end up eating our own words.

no, we are not forcing you or your leaders to walk on water though peter did when "challenged".

we know you and your leaders will back out but hey, you can still talk right?

easier to talk than ...walk the talk isn't it? :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. and what do you mean by "unsubstantiated claims"?
Are u looking for some proofs ...on what?
And why do you need to challenge our claims?
    claims on what?
Claims that - "Surely He has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains! That is the truth of God’s Word. And His Word supersedes natural facts."??
Does that claim bothers you a lot?

if establishing the truth of God’s Word and Christ’s finished work over your problem is a big deal with you..then what do you have? Is there a better or "right" alternative?
If you can give me PEACE which transcends beyond human understanding on what you are trying to talk me out, then I'll drop my hats off and praise you.

    One more thing,
I created this blog not to convince anyone to walk with me and force them to come to Jesus.
I created this to share what the Word OF GOD has done to me and what it has made me of me for 3 years of being a Christian.
Unfortonutely, I cannot tell you so much. I cannot even bombard you with lots of scriptures.

All I know Is, wiith Jesus around in my life, I can withstand all storms that are rocking my brains out. . .
In this world, I may have nothing.
But with JESUS, I have everything,.

    Now, that's my claim!

  12. if your "truth" or world view is based on "emotional reality", you will become prime target for deception.

you want an experience or peace that comes from having your feet planted on solid ground of truth and reality - not lies

the dilemma faces most is that if your focus is in the "experience", then even in lies, it is possible for you to find or experience "peace" and at times, "fulfillment".

point is, you can live in a lie and die with a smile on your face. therefore, your experience does not necessarily validates your faith or who jesus truly is or represents.

personally, i have stepped into the "faith" to know enough of the inner workings and came out, still very much alive and kicking, to say, Christianity has no case because she is founded on a false premise(lawlessness) - of course it will take much more to convince you and i am not trying.

that said, neither am i denying the authoritative bible and its sacred content.

the bible is not an easy manual to decipher basically because it was prophetically inspired - we have too many leaders who interpret the bible literally and greedy leaders who ADD into what the bible did not say!

and herein lies the dilemma. who is telling the truth? you think main streamers got it right? perhaps, they are really deluded considering the fact that their gospel was responsible for much violence and divisions throughout history and even today? - not a gospel of peace promised by god.

has your "peace", "sense of security" truly affirmed your inherited dogmas and doctrines or did your experience stem from perhaps a process similar to "positive thinking"?

you need to question further and deeper if you care for truth.

ps: it is possible to feel good and right living in a lie. don't be deceived.
