Jesus, please comfort me. I am so brokenhearted today because of what happened to STAR.
I am full of rage.. I wana curse the person or people who did this to her.
BUT I know, you wouldn't let me do that.
I just pray that those cruel people will get to know you so they will stop hurting any more dogs
, cats or any pets like STAR in the future. Please touch their hearts to come to you instead.
Please, Lord, I don't want to hear any more of this kind of stories on the net.
I know it's impossible but you are my miracle.

Man is God's image. Animals are an image of God's Love. The blood and suffering which 'Star' endured, having been shot in the head by 40 lead pellets, reminds us of Christ's suffering. This is also becuase Star cannot speak, cannot swear and cant speak out against others, all of which increased her suffering.
Through Star's suffering God wants to pass on a message to us, to show our love and awarness towards animals. Star tragic story was a direct intervention by God as it is impossible for a dog to survive such a tramatic experience.
