Just Trust God’s Goodness And Pray In The Spirit

Good morning everyone! How's your day?

Sharing another powerful truth from Ps Joseph Prince.

Be blessed and enjoy!:)

"Just Trust God’s Goodness And Pray In The Spirit"

1 Corinthians 14:14
14For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.

God has given us a powerful prayer gift — praying in tongues, which is not limited by distance, time or head knowledge. When you pray in tongues, you could be praying for your future or even a loved one overseas. You won’t know what you are praying unless God tells you. This is because your “understanding is unfruitful” — your mind is not involved.

“But Pastor Prince, I must know what I am praying!”

Sometimes, it is better not to know what you are praying. In 1993, I had a long season of praying in the Spirit. If I had known then everything that I was praying in tongues, I would have freaked out! For example, I would have been afraid if I had known that the Holy Spirit was saying, “Father God, in the year 2002, anoint Joseph Prince to preach six messages every week to more than 10,000 people.” That has come to pass. But back in 1993, one service was enough to tire me out!

So I thank God that I don’t know what I am praying when I pray in tongues. I simply trust His goodness and pray in tongues for everything that He has planned for me to come to pass in His perfect timing.

Beloved, don’t stop praying in tongues just because you don’t know what you are praying. You could be praying for the safety of a loved one in a life and death situation. Especially when you feel an urge to pray because you sense danger, pray! Pray until you sense a release as the burden is lifted. The Holy Spirit will know exactly what is going on, who is in danger and how to pray for deliverance. (Romans 8:27)

You may say, “Well, I can just pray in English.” You can, but your prayer will be very limited because you don’t know everything. It is better to pray in tongues because the Spirit knows all things.

My friend, you don’t belong to the natural, limited realm. You belong to God who is unlimited! So pray in tongues, and see great things happening for you and through you.

Help Me Pray, Holy Spirit’

Instead of praying for everything that I know I need or want or must have,

I pray in tongues. The Holy Spirit knows well what's going on inside my body, mind

and heart..So I just let go like that.

It works on me. Why not in you?

Enjoy Ps Joseph Prince devotional for today..It's Tuesday!

Be blessed everyone!

'Help Me Pray, Holy Spirit’

Jude 1:20
20But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

When my daughter Jessica was little, she woke up one night crying. She was not sick, but would not stop crying even though her mother and I tried to pacify her. I did not know what to do. I went to the restroom, sat on the floor and cried out, “Holy Spirit, You know what is wrong with my child. You know what she needs better than I do, so I yield her to You now.” I started praying in tongues and she stopped crying immediately!

Now, I wish that such instantaneous results are the norm, but they are not. On another occasion, I experienced severe pain from the back of my neck to my shoulders. I prayed for healing, but the pain persisted for quite some time and I was quite concerned.

One night, in my room, I knelt down and prayed, “Holy Spirit, You know this condition. I don’t know what it is, but I am asking You to make perfect prayer against this condition.” I started praying in tongues. I don’t know how long I prayed, maybe an hour or so, until I felt the burden lift. I finally fell asleep, still in pain. But when I woke up, all the pain was gone!

When you are faced with a crisis, you can tell the Holy Spirit, “I don’t know how to pray about this problem. I have done everything I know, but I don’t seem to be getting my breakthrough. Help me pray, Holy Spirit.”

And as you pray in the Spirit, you will feel like there is a prayer going on within you. Flow with it until you feel a release. You will feel peace, the burden lifting and a note of victory inside you. The Holy Spirit will assure you that everything is going to be all right or He will prompt you to do something. Then, you will find that what has been hindering you from receiving your breakthrough is removed, and in its place is the answer you need!

God answers our prayers

A very very very nice story… :)
As doubtful we are…
As mistrustful as we all are in God's ability to hear our prayers…
Please do take time to read…

This beautiful story was written by a doctor who worked in Africa .

One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do, she died, leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter. We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive as we had no incubator (we had no electricity to run an incubator). We also had no special feeding facilities. Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts. One student midwife went for the box we had for such babies and the cotton wool that the baby would be wrapped in. Another went to stoke up the fire and fill a hot water bottle. She came back shortly in distress to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had burst (rubber perishes easily in tropical climates).

'And it is our last hot water bottle!' she exclaimed. As in the West, it is no good crying over spilled milk, so in Central Africa it might be considered no good crying over burst water bottles. They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest pathways.

'All right,' I said, 'put the baby as near the fire as you safely can, and sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts. Your job is to keep the baby warm.'

The following noon, as I did most days, I went to have prayers with any of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me. I gave the youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about the tiny baby. I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm enough, mentioning the hot water bottle, and that the baby could so easily die if it got chills. I also told them of the two-year-old sister, crying because her mother had died.

During prayer time, one ten -year-old girl, Ruth, prayed with the usual blunt conciseness of our African children. 'Please, God' she prayed, 'Send us a hot water bottle today. It'll be no good tomorrow, God, as the baby will be dead, so please send it this afternoon.'

While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added, 'And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly for the little girl so she'll know You really love her?'

As often with children's prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I honestly say 'Amen'? I just did not believe that God could do this. Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything; the Bible says so. But there are limits, aren't there? The only way God could answer this particular prayer would be by sending me a parcel from the homeland. I had been in Africa for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever, received a parcel from home.

Anyway, if anyone did send me a parcel, who would put in a hot water bottle? I lived on the equator!
Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses' training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door. By the time I reached home, the car had gone, but there on the verandah was a large 22-pound parcel. I felt tears pricking my eyes. I could not open the parcel alone, so I sent for the orphanage children. Together we pulled off the string, carefully undoing each knot. We folded the paper, taking care not to tear it unduly. Excitement was mounting. Some thirty or forty pairs of eyes were focused on the large cardboard box..

From the top, I lifted out brightly-colored, knitted jerseys. Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children looked a little bored. Then came a box of mixed raisins and sultanas - that would make a batch of buns for the weekend. Then, as I put my hand in again, I felt the.....could it really be? I grasped it and pulled it out. Yes, a brand new, rubber hot water bottle. I cried.

I had not asked God to send it; I had not truly believed that He could. Ruth was in the front row of the children. She rushed forward, crying out, 'If God has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!'

Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small, beautifully- dressed dolly. Her eyes shone! She had never doubted! Looking up at me, she asked: 'Can I go over with you and give this dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?' Of course, I replied!

That parcel had been on the way for five whole months, packed up by my former Sunday school class, whose leader had heard and obeyed God's prompting to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator. And one of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child - five months before, in answer to the believing prayer of a ten-year-old to bring it 'that afternoon.'

'Before they call, I will answer.' (Isaiah 65:24)
When you receive this, please pray the prayer below. That's all you have to do. No strings attached. Just send it on to whomever you want - but please do send it on.

Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost, but a lot of rewards. Let's continue praying for one another.

This awesome prayer takes less than a minute.
'Heavenly Father, I ask You to bless my friends reading this. I ask You to minister to their spirit. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubting, release a renewed confidence to work through them. Where there is tiredness or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, guidance, and strength. Where there is fear, reveal Your love and release to them Your courage. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name. Amen'

P.S. Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend will bless you both. Passing this on to one not considered a friend is something Christ would do.

Debunking Common Myths About Prayer

I used to pray alot...and pray hard.
My past diaries back when I was in my college days could attest to that.

I thought God is always too busy attending other people's prayer
so I really told myself to pray harder so He can notice and hear me out.

Back in my old church,
I saw people kneeling from the main entrance walking towards the altar on bended knees. I deeply sighed. Then I asked the Lord, God? What if I do
that and then I wouldn't be able to make it in the altar? Are my prayers considered void?

Lack of good Christian teachings back then, I slowly turned away from Him.
Because in my mind, God was so hard to pleased. And I felt , I wouldn't be able to live up to His expectations.

I was in total BONDAGE!

No one really taught me or told me that God wasn't like that. It was what I saw and have
become accustomed to.
So I didn't like it and was bored with it so like my mom and my late dad, I stayed away from church. I only appear if there was really one big thing that I wanted to.But that's it. Just for my own benefits.

Now..I'm glad Jesus has showed me who and what God really is.
It changes everything. and my coming to Him now is more of like child-father relationship
thing..I mean it's more than that actually.Your dad can tell you, ok I will grant your request but first you must do this ...and that.Or be good this time or else..

God isn't like that. He gives you everything execeedingly, abundantly without strings attached no matter who you are or no matter what you do..
All you have to do is just to accept it. That's it.

you might ask, "How do you know?"
I'd say..." Look at the C R O S S.. that's the biggest gift God has given to me and to you
so we all can enjoy everything what's in this world! That's the answer to all our prayers! We just have to come boldly, accept it and live life fully with it!"
You might say.."You're making it so simple:"

I'd say,,"Why are you making it so hard? lolx!"

or you might say again, Hey Dinx, you're sharing a lot of these stuffs so where's your car? How's your bank account? Where's your big house and all?? Where? where?

Well, for now. I aint got any of those just YET.

I don't need to pray or ask for all of it either. For I know God has given me those already.
I can only say thanks to Him and praise Him even more .

Like I said, the CROSS is everything that I have..With it , the rest follows.

And I could just shout: In this world for now, I may have nothing, but with God and Jesus, I HAVE MY HEALTH and POWER TO PROSPER. I HAVE EVERYTHING!

Let's relax for awhile and listen to this awesome message my dear friends.
This will teach you how to pray.
Enjoy.

Debunking Common Myths About Prayer

Ben Stein's Remarks from CBS Sunday Morning

I gotta share this with you my dear friends..
The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning
Commentary.

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees, Christmas trees.. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are: Christmas trees.

It doesn 't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrati ng this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu . If people want a crïeche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (regarding Katrina) Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr Spock's son committed suicide). We said an=2 0 expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on
your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they
will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not then just discard it... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.

My Best Regards, Honestly and respectfully,
Ben Stein

Ways to pimp up your life..

For years I was struggling with questions of
sadness, poverty and sickness.

I read on howto books, find out the why's , followed
the instructions well...but..to no avail!

It only lasted like days, weeks..

The next day, I would wake up still feeling the same ,old pathetic me again.

I tried Mind Control..read the Supermind books, etc. and even "How to be a Hero!"

lolx!

Yeah I was so trying hard back then only to make it worst.

Life was so hard on me. I even thought of death as the only escape to it.

But right now!

With Jesus around...I cannot say a word!

Everyday seems to be a new day...He lifts me up each time I am sad or bored.

He just knows what to do because He knows me well.

It's amazing! NOw , I am not so sad, lonely,or wanting a lot of stuffs just to
satisfy me anymore..I just listen to His words and songs, and that's all there's to it. Makes me happy. The perfect happiness that money or anything else in this world cannot buy.

Jesus is the only way! I am not being religious. Me , just like Jesus hates religion too. With religion, they can tell you to do this and that but with Jesus, He just wants me
to rest in Him and He does all the work. Awesome, isn't it?

Financially, I may not be there yet..But I feel I'm on the right track.
Because Jesus is guiding me.

Just great!

Thank you,Jesus! Thank you for keeping me in your side.

God didn't leave me without help

or comfort in this life.

The Lord Himself promised to give me grace in every situation.
His grace is sufficient to sustain me through every problem and trial.
And He also promised me the victory in every situation (1 Cor 15:57)

God already told me in His Word

that He would fight my battles for me...
The Word said that the battle is not mine, but it belongs to the Lord (2 Chron. 20:17)

In the midst of the battle, I know that the Lord is working things out for me..

Our purpose in life has a spiritual foundation.
Our MAJOR LIFE ISSUES are usually of 3 types:

- physical and POWER-ORIENTED,
like making our stand and being more courageous.

- emotional and LOVE-ORIENTED,
like expressing and receiving love, compassion and nurturing others.

- mental and INTELLECT-ORIENTED,
like developing our minds and creating new things and processes.

"Our prayers are answered not when we are given what we ask,
but when we are challenged to be what we can be."
